Warhorses such as destriers or coursers are unsuitable for
general riding. Most knights only mount their warhorses in times of battle.
Instead, they rely on riding horses for daily use. The finest and most
ill-tempered steeds come from Araby and command prices as high as 10 times the
normal cost for horses.
